We would strip off the old roof membrane to sheathing board to dump. We shall repair any minor damaged roof board to prepare for the new shingle installation. We shall install new 1/2” cdx plywood on entire roof surface to building a new sheathing deck. We would install plywood using 8d nails nailed in a randomly staggered pattern. We shall install one layer of synthetic roofing felt over the plywood using the roof nails by the manufacturer’s specification in order to act as a vapor barrier. We shall install new galvanized flashing along the bottom edge of the roof. This would seal off the raw edge of the wood and prevent rot from occurring and moss from growing at the bottom edges of the roof. We shall install new drain outlets and roof jacks constructed with galvanized sheet metal. A starter course of composition shingles would be installed along the bottom edge and the top edge of the roof. We shall install lifetime warranted certainteed: landmark dimensional shingles (ul class “a” fire rating) at owners preferred color. The shingles are installed along the bottom edge and shall be laid in an overlapping method according to the manufacturer’s specifications using at least four galvanized fasteners per each shingle. We shall install high profile hip and ridge shingles as per manufacturer’s specifications. We shall install new galvanized sheet metal chimneys. 11. We shall install 6 new o’hagan attic vents. We shall shall install 1st layer of #28 fiberglass perma base which shall be nailed over the wood sheathing. We shall install modified bitumen as final covering. Clean up all the debris caused by our work. The above work shall carry a workmanship warranty of five years from the date of the completion
